My research focuses on the structural geology, tectonics, geodynamics, and regional geology of convergent margins. I use geologic mapping, geochronology, and petrography to understand:

• continental collision – the evolution from a trench to a thrust belt
• subduction complex accretion and erosion processes
• the impacts of subduction dynamics on continents and vice versa
• the role of the mantle lithosphere in surface geology
• along-strike variations in all of these

Currently, I am a Lecturer at SUNY Oneonta and a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Geosciences at the University of Arizona.
